We all, inherently, contain the ability to move toward healing. Imagine a path and let's forge a way...

Welcome. If you are in search of a therapist you’re about to take a meaningful step toward creating a healthier, more integrated, and more empowered existence. Sometimes we arrive at a place where we feel lost, stuck, or overwhelmed and need help finding a more peaceful and balanced path. A trained therapist can assist you in navigating past the barriers that stand between where you are and where you want to be. I believe that our connection with our therapist is the most important aspect of our therapy. Therefore, I offer a free 20 minute consultation over the phone to determining if we're a good fit. If we're not, I will be happy to refer you to others who may be a better match.

I offer holistic, client-centered psychotherapy to individuals and couples with:

Conflict in relationships, feelings of disconnection, social anxiety and shyness

Mood instability, depression, low self-esteem, lack of motivation or satisfaction

Recovery from trauma, PTSD, childhood abuse, Postpartum Depression and Anxiety

Excessive worry, generalized anxiety, hoarding behaviors

Memory loss, cognitive impairment, dementia

Difficult life transitions, grief and loss

Chronic medical conditions and pain

Substance and behavioral addictions, unwanted habits

Caregiver stress and burnout

I utilize existential, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, experiential, and mindfulness approaches and meet you wherever you are in your process. My goal is to help you find ways to eventually direct your own process more effectively on your own.

I received my MA in Existential Phenomenological Psychology from Seattle University, am licensed in Oregon as a licensed professional counselor (LPC), and am a certified Geriatric Mental Health Specialist (GMHS). I have worked as a psychotherapist and crisis clinician in community mental health, for a public hospital, and in my private practice for the last 10 years. I am the author of Mastering the Moment: A Process of Gaining Control Over our Habits Through Mindful Awareness, that will be published Summer of 2019. I currently provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples, and run workshops for inner and interpersonal growth.
